Design, Purchasing and Project Co-ordination

This service includes everything listed in the ‘Design and Purchasing’ service along with co-ordination of trades onsite to bring the design to life.

This service includes the following:

  • Briefing of various contractors required to carry out the work. This includes an inital site meeting to review the designs with the chosen contractors then creation of a list of works.

  • Obtaining of contractor estimates and liaising between contractors and clients to finalise the specifications and project costs.

  • Scheduling of the project with all relevant parties.

  • Supporting contractors with queries regarding the design and finishes throughout the project duration.

  • 1-2 site visits at key stages during the project to agree the interior layouts and details. Regular check ins during the project by phone to ensure everything is going to plan.

  • Tracking of payments to contractors in line with the approved quotes.

  • Agreement of a snag list between the builder and client

  • One final site visit by Jo on project completion

  • Full CAD/construction drawings for contractors to work to

What’s not included

  • This is a pretty comprehensive service, but it does not cover the day to day management of the contractors onsite. There is a reasonable level of input and direction is required from clients to the builder, to ensure work is carried out as planned and in line with agreed contract

  • Payments to contractors will be made directly between client & contractors in line with the approved quotes.
